The selected cruise line when your nonprofit organization books 8 staterooms or more will match $5.oo per day per group guest up to an 8 day cruise.
- When booking 8 staterooms, 16 guests or more, selected cruise lines will match $5.00 per guest per day for up to an 8 day voyage.
- Formula: Number of guests + Length of Cruise x $5.00 = Total Cruise Line Contribution
- Example: 60 guests X 7 day cruise = 420
- Take 420 x $5.00 and your fundraiser value = $2100
Your Organization Marks Up the Price of the Cruise:
- To raise additional funds for your organization your nonprofit organization marks up the cost of the cruise by $15.00 or more (this is your participant’s donation) and markets it at the higher value.
- Example: 7 day cruise is $699.00 per occupant
- Nonprofit group marks up cost by $50.00
- Nonprofit group markets it at $749.00 per person

- The cruise line matches ($5.00 per day per guest) $35.00 on a 7 day cruise and the nonprofit group contribution of $50 per guest = $85.00 per guest.
Example: Cruise line $35.00 + Nonprofit $50 =$85.00 X number of guests @ 60 = total for fundraiser value is $5100
Raise Even More Money! -
- In addition to cruise line matching funds you can earn 1 free stateroom for every 15 staterooms sold.
- The dollar value is based on the average value of staterooms sold for the cruise.
- You would earn 3 free staterooms for every 50 staterooms booked.
How To Raise Even More Money Formula -
- The cruise line matches ($5.00 per day per guest) $35.00 on a 7 day cruise and the nonprofit group contribution of $50 per guest = $85.00 per guest.
Example: Cruise line $35.00 + Nonprofit $50 =$85.00 X number of guests @ 60 = total for fundraiser value is = $5100
- Using the 7 day cruise formula of 60 guests or 30 staterooms (double occupancy) you would earn 2 free staterooms at an average value of staterooms sold.
- Example: Stateroom Avg. Value = $699 per guest X 2 guests per room X 2 free staterooms = $2796

Suggested Ways To Raise Additional Money With The Free Staterooms -
This example is based on the sale of 50 staterooms which would give your organization 3 free staterooms to be used at your discretion. With some extra fundraising effort your organization can generate even more cash! See below!
- Suggested ways in which your organization could use the free staterooms are:
- Stateroom #1 could be raffled through the sale of raffle tickets
- Stateroom #2 could be used as an incentive to the person(s) who sells the most staterooms
- Stateroom #3 could be used as an incentive for the person who sells the most raffle tickets
- Free staterooms can be sold with the free stateroom credit used as an additional fundraiser contribution.
- Or take cash value of average stateroom cost.
