 Re-entry into normal life is always hard after a holiday and even more so after the luxury and pampering of a cruise.

Cruise Ship Dining is the Best!

 You’ve been back from your cruise  a day and already missing those sunset sailaways, beautiful beaches, gentle jazz piano or nightly banter with your waiters?

So here are ten ways to tell you haven’t quite made it back to reality!

  • You fumble around for a key card to open your front door
  • You mentally add 15% to drinks prices, even in the supermarket
  • Carrying cash is an annoying and alien concept
  • You start trying to make towel animals at bedtime but they come out all floppy and unrecognizable
  • Craving exotic cocktails or snacks at inappropriate hours of the day seems perfectly normal
  • You promise yourself to create a dazzling salad buffet for lunch but can only find a bit of limp lettuce in the fridge
  • You try on the jeans you didn’t take on holiday and they’re alarmingly tight
  • You suddenly have a big pile of friend requests on Facebook
  • You can’t sleep because the bed’s not swaying gently
  • You casually toss used towels on the bathroom floor (but nobody picks them up)
